Gordon Ramsay Plane Food

If you're wandering about London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, consider heading to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant before you fly out of London! Gordon Ramsay's Plane Food offers dine-in options, as well as a grab-and-go meal service.

For their dine-in service, expect to be seated with views of planes taking off and landing. The restaurant has a funky vibe and we had an enjoyable meal. The mains are from 14 pounds and up, and they also have a range of sides.

We ordered the mac and cheese (no longer in the menu) and the short rib burger (14 pounds). The mac and cheese was very flavourful and cheesy. It tasted really good at the first few bites, but we soon got sick of the cream and cheese and could barely finish it! However, the burger was nothing short of amazing! The Monterey Jack cheese melted in every bite and it not too strong as to cover the taste of the short ribs!

These two dishes were sufficient as we were only looking for a snack before heading to the lounge for more food! So if you were to visit the Heathrow Airport - Terminal 5, do stop by and try Gordon Ramsay's Plane Food! Share with us what you think! :)

Where to stay in London, United Kingdom?

Looking for the perfect mid-tier hotels to stay at during your trip to London, United Kingdom? After having stayed at multiple hotels throughout our visits to London, we have compiled a list of our favourite accommodations:

First on our list is the Paramount Hotel, which is situated in a quiet neighbourhood near Earl's Court metro station. This guest-house-like property boasts spacious and tidy rooms, making for a comfortable stay. The Earl's Court region is ideal for travellers on a budget, as it features a variety of reasonably priced hotels while still providing access to the station within Zone 1. Additionally, a 24-hour Sainsbury Local is conveniently located just a 4-minute walk from the hotel.

On another occasion, we tried the Ibis Styles London Kensington Hotel, part of the AccorHotels chain. Like the Paramount Hotel, this hotel is also just a 2-minute walk from Earl's Court Station and a 4-minute walk from Sainsbury's Local. However, the rooms are slightly smaller and may lack the homely feel of the Paramount Hotel. Nevertheless, the modern rooms and high-quality service expected from an international chain make it a great option for travellers.
