Milan is the capital of Italy and no, it is not just the Duomo that you can visit because there is a whole lot more! But for this post, we will cover bits and pieces of the Duomo.
The Duomo is such a majestic and beautiful architectural landmark that attracts millions of tourists every year. While the courtyard where the duomo is situated is often filled with lots of tourists, and possibly many scam artists, do take time to admire the majestic architecture of the Duomo.
The Duomo is beautiful all around! Do make sure you purchase a ticket to head in and up of the Duomo. Admire the marbles used in the construction and the intricate details the architect put in.
It is a long way up, but when you get to the top, you'll realise that all that climbing is definitely worth it. The view of the surrounding area is amazing and you get to climb on the rooftop of the majestic duomo.
The interior of the duomo is no less impressive. It features mosaic tiles on the ground, marble columns, and stained glass!
Each window pane is unique and displays a different story.
